Unleash a new level of safety. Our helmets are designed to make you highly visible and your actions predictable. Leave nothing to chance.
Dynamic lighting at eye level elevates your safety to new heights. Be seen from afar with bright front and rear lights.
No surprises! Let other motorists know your intentions by using the built-in turn signals.
Eliminate collisions from the rear by warning traffic behind you when you’re coming to a hard stop. The additional reaction time afforded can be the difference between life and death.
Rain or shine, you can count on your Lumos Street to brave any storm.
Activate turn signals through the included Lumos Remote, or why not sync up your Apple Watch for gesture-triggered indicators.
Go the extra mile and kit out your helmet with the MIPS option.
MIPS is a helmet-integrated brain protection system designed to provide additional brain protection in the event of angled or rotational impacts. All MIPS certified helmets are tested to withstand an impact speed of up to 6.2 meters per second.
Included With Every Purchase
I love the design and build quality of the helmet it looks very nice and premium and gives you a sense of comfort and safety. I’ll gave it a 5 stars for use with bicycles, but if you are buying this helmet electric skateboarding keep in mind the following:
- Hand-gestures for skateboarding are from my experiences unreliable for electric skateboards. I’ll probably 3d print the remote hand holder as the buttons work very well.
- Auto-breaks don’t work for me on a skateboard (haven’t tested it on the bike yet…).
Suggestion for Lumos: it would be nice if you offered an official skateboard adapter for the remote buttons so that you could safely hold an use the remote in your hand.
